Home Window Cleaning: 5 Step Restorative Process

1) Screen Clean
  • Screens are gently removed from the window and then labeled to ensure they are fitted back into the orignial locations.
  • We'll then stack all the screens where our biodegradable screen cleaning solution can easily drain into run off channels during the scrubbing process.
  • Both sides of the screen are hand scrubbed with a solution to remove the dirt and grime. This solution provides an anti-static barriar to prevent the buildup of pollen and dust before your next cleaning.
  • Screens will then be put aside to dry.

2) Window and Frame Wash
  • The window is opened and the internal frames are dry brushed to remove accumulated dust, pollen and leaves. This is followed up with a wet wipe.
  • The next part of the window cleaning process is to treat each pane with an environmentally safe solution that penetrates deep into the window to lift out accumulated dirt and grime.
  • Hard Water and Mineral Stains are treated and removed.
  • Paint overspray, bugs, food, tree sap and other dired on stucky stuff will be scrubbed and scraped off.
  • The outside frame will also be scrubbed to remove finger prints, grease and other accumulated dirt.
  • The window is screeged dry. The edges and frame are towel dried with a microfiber cloth.
3) Window Polish:
The last step of detailing your window is to use a micro-fine pad to polish the entire window, leaving it Inside windows will be cleaned using the same process. Shoe Coverings will be put on and towels will be placed on floor and sills to protect your furnishings from water damage.
4) Outside Screens are put back into their original locations.
